Before my journey as a gentleman began, I could lie in bed until ten minutes before we had to leave. I would jump up, get dressed, and still make it to the car before my wife.
Now, with the routine of a gentleman, things have changed.
My wife sets the alarm earlier. I get up and begin the process,
Shave… check.
Face...check
Hair… check.
Fragrance… check.
Shoes polished… check.
Clothing… check.
And one final look in the mirror.
This morning, my wife watched me and laughed. She said she knows the routine now, so she set the alarm fifteen minutes earlier.
Being a gentleman is quite the job.
