Please Don't Sleep On Your Footwear
It's been close to 2 years since i started rebuilding my wardrobe. I was going to build a capsule wardrobe but ended building up my own style. White sneakers and Chelsea boots were my only shoes (gym wear excluded)
I was adding t shirts, shirts, jeans but i felt the same. I ended up adding:
11 Shirts
8 short sleeve tees
8 straight leg jeans
7 chinos
4 long sleeve tees
2 long sleeve polo
3 jumpers
1 Sneaker (white)
1 Chelsea (camel)
And today, i finally ordered a pair of tobacco colored lace up boots (image attached) after hearing everyone's suggestions and i felt like it gave me a completely new personality and wardrobe. It's just 1 piece of addition but it changed everything!
My advice would be that even if you own only 2 pairs of jeans and 3 pairs of tees, consider having atleast 3 footwear (sneakers, boots, loafers) or bare minimum 2.
It might look weird recommendations but it'll help you to create different looks.
