The other night, my wife and I were out to dinner for our anniversary, and a lot of you commented on that post, so thank you!
But, during that dinner, there was a table of around 6-7 elderly people, all dressed very nicely, chatting away and having a great time. They seemed to be getting drink after drink, plate after plate of food. Their conversations were hilarious and seemed to be lifelong friends.
As my wife and I got up to leave and walked past them, the best-dressed man at the table reached out to greet us and shook my hand, saying "It's so nice to see young people dressing up so nice. You don't see that much these days. You look great, and your wife is just lovey!" And the rest of the table was chipping in comments as well!
I complimented back and we said our thank you's.
It was quite nice, and it made my wife and I's night that much more special!
