Very hectic Friday at the office with 5 sets of calls to get bridge loan finalized, write a new patient reported outcome for the first time (kind of duplicative there), and interview 2 new candidates. Great way to wrap up the week!
Here's what I'm moving around in for all these meetings:
• Suit — SJ‑013, SL‑022 (Mantoni): A light‑gray Mantoni windowpane suit in an airy wool weave, accented with navy and light‑blue lines that add depth without visual clutter. The fabric weight and clean tailoring make it ideal for warmer days while still projecting executive‑level business formality.
• Shirt — DS‑025 (Charles Tyrwhitt): A classic Winchester poplin stripe dress shirt in white and sky blue with French cuffs and a generous spread collar. Crisp, breathable, and highly legible under a patterned suit, it provides structure while allowing the tie texture to shine.
• Undershirt — US‑021 (Sene): A slate‑blue MTM Supima cotton and elastane undershirt with excellent opacity control and all‑day comfort. Invisible under the poplin shirt while offering superior drape and temperature regulation.
• Tie — NT‑041 (Fort Belvedere): A true navy grenadine silk tie (Garza Grossa), untipped and richly textured for understated authority. The matte finish and depth of weave balance the windowpane suit perfectly; tied in a clean Half‑Windsor for proportional harmony.
• Suspenders — SB‑003 (JJ Suspenders): Navy skinny suspenders with gold hardware and brown leather tabs, worn with brace buttons for a clean waistline and superior drape. A classic choice that reinforces formality while eliminating belt bulk under a suit jacket.
• Pocket Square — PS‑009 (Fort Belvedere): White Irish linen with Fort Belvedere’s signature blue X‑stitch edge. Crisp and conservative, presented in a TV fold to echo the suit’s geometry without competing with the tie.
• Footwear — DSh‑002 (Stacy Adams): Navy cap‑toe Oxfords that coordinate seamlessly with the suit’s blue windowpane and tie. Formal in shape while introducing subtle color interest appropriate for daylight business wear.
• Socks — DSo‑071: Over‑the‑calf navy socks with a mid‑blue shadow stripe that quietly ties back to the shirt and suit accents. Proper length ensures uninterrupted lines when seated.
• Cufflinks — CL‑014: Silver‑toned globe cufflinks with navy detailing, adding restrained visual interest at the cuffs. A thoughtful, thematic accent that complements the cool palette without drawing undue attention.
• Watch — W‑006 (Fossil Townsman Automatic): A skeleton‑dial automatic with stainless case and mid‑brown leather strap. Visually engaging yet restrained enough for internal and leadership‑focused business settings.
• Pen — P‑001 (Montblanc Meisterstück 146): The Montblanc LeGrand fountain pen in black resin with platinum trim and EF nib. A quiet signal of precision and leadership, particularly effective in meetings and note‑taking moments.
• Ring — R‑001: Platinum wedding band worn as a constant personal anchor and legacy piece. Neutral metal keeps focus on the overall ensemble.
• Business Card Case — BCC‑004 (Fort Belvedere): An oxblood leather card case with turquoise interior, introducing controlled contrast within an otherwise cool palette. Elegant, tactile, and perfectly sized for suit jacket pockets.
