OOTD - 23 December 2025

The last full work day of the year. I have a pair of Steve Maden derby shoes that I had nearly thrown out once I realized the uppers are corrected leather. The one advantage is that they are built for handling rain. Even though my area of Los Angeles gets about 11 inches per year, tomorrow we are expected to get over 3 inches in one day. We expect widespread flooding as our infrastructure was not built to handle even 1.5" of rain in a day. These shoes should help keep my feet dry as I go between the house and my office (same property, separate buildings).

Today's outfit:

Shirt - Paul Fredrick white cotton dress shirt with dark blue color contrast (inner collar, inner cuffs, inner placket, and buttons)

Slacks - Santorelli wool slacks in khaki basketweave

Vest - Hisdern tan cotton vest

Tie - David Donahue silk tie with tiny boxes at various angles - chocolate background, white, tan, and blue shapes (I think this helped bring together the similar colors of the vest and slacks)

Belt - Hanks suede khaki belt with silver buckle

Shoes - Thursday Boots cinnamon brown double monk-strap boots

Socks - Il Regalo brown on tan stripe jacquard cotton OTC socks
