Observations While Clubbing

I took my niece and nephew out (they’re adults) to a cool nightclub last night. 40 years ago I was no stranger to the nightlife. I dressed appropriately for the venue. Black button down, grey slacks, houndstooth sports jacket, and Capezio Jazz Oxfords (for dancing). The website stated a dress code of “dress to impress”. I was not impressed. Shorts, tee shirts, flip flops were in abundance. I was the only guy in the place with a sport coat. I had some guys compliment me on the jacket, asked me what I do, and even ask me if I owned the place.

I guess times have changed. 🤷‍♂️
