Mediocrity and Greatness Don’t Mix
Mediocrity is the silent killer of greatness.
It shows up in small excuses and takes root in lowering the bar just a little...
In letting “good enough” slide through the cracks...
In skipping a task because it's "not a big deal"...
Until what started as a small compromise one time has evolved and grown into a habit of choosing mediocrity.
This is how most people lose.
You can't allow that shit into your life.
Not in yourself.
Not in the people around you.
Not at all.
Greatness demands that you draw a hard line in the sand and tolerate nothing less.
Because when you allow mediocrity to exist in yourself or in your team...
You are sending a message that it's okay to water down the standard and cut corners.
...and that message will spread like a wildfire.
Eliminate it directly from the source.
Mediocrity and greatness can't play on the same team.
