Day 7
The 1 thing that stood out for me is being grateful for the small stuff and actually taking the time to acknowledge those things. I can already feel the shift and recognizing some of the old patterns trying to come up in different situations. As Guri explained his experience with his family looking good on the outside, but on the inside falling apart, I have definitely been there also. I've felt alone a lot of times and overwhelmed by the responsibility of being the person that is relied upon to make money and take care of the family. It is so much pressure and so many times where I didn't think we were going to make it financially at all. I would lose everything again. Those feelings, the tightness in my body are shifting. I do feel more supported and so much more grateful for what I already have.
A major win for me...the 2 year program in functional medicine I want to do, came back and offered me to skip the "down payment" and just break things up into monthly tuition. Although, I may still may not be able to do it cause of the monthly cost, I am super grateful that the admissions counselor went to bat for me to see what they could do. I was not expecting that at all. I have to give her an answer tomorrow. If it's meant to be right now, it'll happen and I am grateful for the opportunity if it doesn't. I do know that this is the course for me and I believe something will work out.
