I remembered couple of stories.
One whenI gathered 2 buckets of apricots and went to the local market to sell them. I was around 10 years. I struggle to sell, I start with 7 hrivnas as it seemed fare regarding the market. But I sold in the end for 3, and one bucket bought my grandma's cousin. For some reason I remember this as a failure and frustration, feel ashamed and decided that sells is not my thing.
The other moment it's having old soviet money just laying around. It was not a real money anymore, but it was still money. It felt strange like it's not a toy, but not something serious. I was confused how to think about them.
And the third one. I remember my grandma's sister in law liked to give me money and sweets, she didn't have kids and I was one of 2 "grandkids" in here life, so she like to have time with me and give me her love with food and money. But I was always told not to take money from her. Like I need to say no. I was, but she kept insisting and I always took them and then my parents were like disappointed. It felt like I disobey their order.
When I'm thinking about it now I can't understand the logic behind this "rule".
And this granny user to say "if they give you - take, if they bit you - run". It was in a supportive way, like if I'm giving you, you can take it. It's OK
