We’re following a Style Guide very similar to the Simplicity Ops Wealthbox template (see attached) but are struggling with how to categorize certain contacts. Specifically, when a trusted contact or beneficiary is not a relative (e.g., a 35-year-old best friend), should they be added as a related contact or placed in a household? If they don’t fit into a traditional household structure, would you still assign them a household, or leave them as standalone contacts?
For those using a setup close to the Simplicity Ops template, what Contact Type and Category would you recommend for these individuals? Looking for best practices to keep our CRM organized and consistent. Appreciate any insights!
