🌿 My Story — Why I Built This Space I wasn't always a healer. For years I was DJ Wendywenn — part of Hong Kong's music scene, living fast, performing, always moving. On the outside everything looked fine. On the inside I was holding a lot. I was abandoned at two years old and raised by a foster family. Early on I learned that suppressing emotions was how you stayed safe. That became perfectionism. People-pleasing. A body that was always braced for something. I didn't know any of this at the time. I just knew something felt off — even when life looked good. Motherhood changed everything. It cracked something open. I started studying — Dr. Dan Siegel, Dr. Gabor Maté's Compassionate Inquiry, Dr. Sat Dharam Kaur, Spinal Flow®, sound healing, breathwork, energy medicine. I wasn't just learning for clients. I was learning for myself. What I discovered — slowly, and then all at once — is that the body isn't broken. It's communicating. Pain, tension, anxiety, exhaustion — these aren't failures. They're messages from a nervous system that's been carrying too much for too long. When I shifted to a nervous system-first approach, everything changed. For me, and then for the people I work with. That's what The Retune Pathway is. It's everything I've learned about what the body needs to feel safe enough to release, restore, and reconnect. I'm now based in Tuscany, working with clients in person and online. I founded KusalaFlow® as a space devoted to exactly this kind of work — energy medicine, nervous system regulation, and the quiet but profound process of coming home to yourself. Nothing is missing. Your body already carries everything needed to heal. Reconnection is the work. Why I Started This
I want to tell you why this community exists. I know what it's like to carry pain for years and not understand why nothing seems to work. I know what it's like to feel disconnected from your own body. And I know what it feels like when something finally shifts — not because someone fixed you, but because you started to understand what was actually going on inside. That's what changed everything for me. Understanding. Not just what to do, but why. Now I work with people every day in my studio in Tuscany, and I see this happen over and over. When someone understands how their body holds stress, how their nervous system learned to protect them, how pain can be a pattern the brain learned rather than damage in the body — something opens up. But you know what I've also noticed? The people who heal the most are the curious ones. Curious about themselves. Curious about what might be possible if they stopped accepting that this is just how life is. They pay attention to their heart instead of their head. And that openness — that willingness to feel instead of just think — is where everything begins. So this space isn't just about me teaching you things. It's about exploring together. I'm still learning. I'm still curious. I'm still on the path. Healing doesn't end. It deepens. And the more of us walking together, the more we all see. Your body already carries everything it needs to heal. Sometimes it just needs the right conditions — and a little company along the way. That's what this is. Welcome. With light, Wendy

👋 Welcome — I'm so glad you're here. I'm Wendy. I work with women who are tired of being in pain — physically, emotionally, or both — and who've already tried a lot of things without lasting change. A little about my background — I'm a Certified Spinal Flow Technique® Practitioner, Sound Healer, and Breathwork Instructor. My work is also informed by Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB), Dr. Gabor Maté's Compassionate Inquiry approach, and StarMagic. I'm currently deepening my studies with Sat Dharam Kaur ND through Sutradhar. I also write as an Executive Contributor for Brainz Magazine.
