Hi!
I’m Aud Christina - I’m making a move towards fully remote work. I have been working as an advisor in the research/university sector, and want to start out as a virtual assistant and/or transcriber - and then move on to social media etc. I’m also in high ticket affiliate marketing. I look forward to being part of a community like this and to learn more about this! • oh, and yes - my favourite Netflix series happens to be The Walking Dead (I was so surprised how that one got to me😂)
Hi There 👋🏻
I'm Stephanie and I am a nurse who has worked in healthcare for many years. Healthcare is rewarding and interesting and I have met some great people, but I am looking to pivot to a job that allows me to be able to create my own framework, philosophy, rules, and still use knowledge and expertise that I have gained through the years. It's simple: I want to help people, but I want to be able to do it in a way that is equally fulfilling and allows me to appreciate the little things in life (such as being able to appreciate nature while still working). I don't accept that there is one way of doing something and I appreciate new ideas and I am always learning something new. I started out with a dream of doing medical marketing and I didn't follow through due to being overwhelmed, but not this time. Oh, and my fav Netflix series might just be Walking Dead with Supernatural in a close second... depends on the VPN (K-dramas, C-Dramas, and so on) Nice to meet you! 😄
I always thought I have to decide between my two biggest dreams...
...but luckily that wasn't true! Okay, kind of it was or let's put it this way: Combining a career as a German native actress and voice-artist and moving abroad to Namibia didn't come without its challenges but I am glad I went on this journey which required me to rethink the freelance-artist mindset and become a creative entrepreneur. Today I am the proud owner of a digital audiobook publishing house (all productions are entirely remote with authors and narrators from mainly Germany, Switzerland and Austria). I have produced and published 77 audiobooks and my goal is to have a portfolio of 100 by end of this year. I am also working on other productions - this year I have narrated 10 documentaries already and a contract for 10 more is to follow. My first digital product was an audioguide app for Namibia and I am still busy improving that one further. I am also writing my first novel and had a casting for a movie last week in the final round (from time to time I still get to be in front of the camera instead of just in front of the mic). Excited to be here and can't wait to see what I can learn from everyone.
Hey everyone, I'm Adam Thomas and I'm genuinely glad to be in this community!
My story starts where a lot of yours probably does. A career that looked great on paper, a life that ticked every box it was supposed to tick and a feeling that grew slowly and then all at once that something fundamental wasn't right. I spent years building a professional life that made complete sense from the outside. Stable, successful, respected. And then one day I stopped being able to explain to myself why I was doing it anymore. My brother Rick felt the same way at roughly the same time. So in 2019 we did something about it. We left our corporate careers behind, not with a dramatic leap or a reckless gamble, but with a plan we had quietly built in the margins of the lives we were trying to leave. And we have been living nomadically ever since, building and working from Chiang Mai, Bali, Lisbon, Medellín, Tokyo and a long list of places in between. Seven years in and neither of us has had a single day of wondering whether it was the right call. What I do now is help other professionals and business owners make the same transition, the right way. Not through inspiration or highlight reels, but through a real, structured plan built around remote income generated before they leave, a personal exit plan with a departure date they can count down to and genuine one-to-one support from people who have actually lived this life across 20 plus countries. The thing I am most proud of is not the places I have been. It is watching someone go from burned out and stuck to waking up somewhere they actually chose, doing work that actually fits them, with a life they actually designed. That never gets old. Looking forward to contributing here, learning from everyone in this community and connecting with people who are either living this life or building toward it! If you are curious about what we do or just want to swap stories, my door is always open. You can also find us over at The Escape Blueprint on Skool if you ever want to dig deeper into the transition side of things.
About me
Solo Indie game dev, wanting to turn a hobby into a business. Currently coding a kitchen game, but planning on one about driving a car with one steering and the other doing the rest, like brake/throttle. Biggest Struggle? Getting testers who don’t need too much payment (I only have one, a chess player)
