Gratitude Dump #1
Beginning weekly gratitude dumps for us all to share wins, precious moments, appreciations and the funny ways life twists, turns and changes on us so quickly. - 4 days back deep into van life. Drove 12hrs, grateful for a reliable home on wheels and the beauty around every corner of NZ. (First few pics below) - For finding friends on hikes as I wander and being welcomed into strangers lives. - For getting to celebrate @Cassidy White beginning her new beginning travel nursing in Australia! Proud of her expanding her life so boldly. - @Brendan OCallaghan for being a rock solid new friend the last 2ish months. Having a brother to share things we are truly working through and being a frontline supporter on all things. And taking on gratitude journalling and already reaping the many serene benefits of it! - Getting to wake up to the rest of you making such a beautiful supportive and inviting environment here. It’s also been so good on my mind to leave other socials behind and solely nurture this. Sooo much less brain fog and time wasted doomscrolling. - Grateful for cute animals and kind people. - For experiencing high and low-tides of the ocean .. feels like the earth is breathing and beaming with life here. - For a healthy body that can do ridiculous hikes and heal (reasonably) quickly. - For neighbours that invite me on the sea and give me a top notch first overnight sea fishing trip, despite being sea sick 20hrs straight 😆 #sayyestotheadventure! How about you guys? Photos for extra cool credits
Gratitude Dump #1
3 weeks of gratitude
I’m quite proud to say that it’s been three weeks of writing in my gratitude journal! It was really something easy to take on because it made me feel good at the end of the day reflecting on the positive! In the past, when I went through a break up, I would spiral down a lot in self pitty. I truly believe that gratitude through, this recent break up, has helped me get perspective on life and grounded me in reality not some fictitious pool of misery. There are great things out there, but if our brain is focusing on the negative all the time it will spot the negative more. Gratitude journaling provides a shift in perspective to see all the good things that happen in a single day (because good things do happen). How is your gratitude journal journey going?
What are you grateful for?
Let out the wave of good vibes, friends! There is plenty still right and good in the world. Share what you're grateful for lately for free points. (Bonus cool points if you have photos to share!) For myself, I am grateful to have created this space that has already gathered old friends and wonderful new ones! A very high calibre of people so far as I have gotten to chat with each and every one of you. So first off, I'm grateful for YOU guys. Secondly, the fact that every waking moment over the last week has been spent either quadding around with dogs and wrangling cattle on a bullfarm in this NZ adventure of mine, or plotting way to add legacy-worthy value to people on this platform. I literally couldn't sleep because I was TOO excited the other night about what will be possible here. That is a noteworthy and fortunate issue to have. I am grateful for good dogs, good people, this reliable live-in van that I found to circle the NZ islands here, and this roof over my head for the next 3 weeks before celebrating my 21st year cancer free and continuing my semi-aimless wandering of this beautiful country. How about you guys??

Edifying YOU
There is no finer way to spend a day than appreciating the good people in your life. On that note, a shoutout to @Brendan OCallaghan for being actionable from the lessons in the Gratitude Course. I CHERISH your messages and living proof of gratitude already paying dividends. @Lisa Black For your great feedback, enthusiasm and sharing your musical gifts so I can build with a member's own music in the background. To @Madison Peyer for your colourful, unique contributions and photos. Your character shines in ever comment! To @Nadine Rajeh for connecting on such an aligned note and for future collaborations in the making! To @Lucas O'Donahue For your epic testimony and the man that you are becoming. To @Jaime Lee for the precious words of encouragement behind the scene. To @Madison Thorne for being such a unique, quick friend and rockstar contributor to my favourite place on earth at Camp Kindle. Those kids are lucky to have you! To @Amber Welder for growing through significant shifts alongside me and normalizing the great leap of long-lasting and transformative adventures, far from home. To @Cassidy White for being a ride-or-die friend in leaving a positive mark on the world. As well as giving me my favourite gift all year in that message from KCC, I missed it dearly this summer. To @Philippa Putlitz for going after your brand new beginning in a new land. I wish you unforgetable memories! To @Elin U for investing part of your lifestyle to leaving people better than you found them and paying your mindset and enthusiasm for life forward, too! To @Alyssa Trombley for expanding our horizons alongside each other in new beginnings in Kelowna. And all the funky serendipities and challenges growing roots in a new world.
Using my first gratitude journal
After watching several of Remy’s videos, I was inspired to start my first ever gratitude journal! What I found fascinating about a gratitude journal was having a record of all of the good things that people have done for me in my life and having a catalog to go back to, so I can remind people of their goodness when they are not in a great place!
