Registration could take up to 45 days for new applications (set up limited company first as you’ll need the company details to apply).
Timeline:
1 Submit your online application
2 Pay the registration fees
3 HMRC checks your application and responsible persons
4 HMRC may request additional information
5 HMRC confirms approval or refusal by email
