Business bank accounts
Has anyone opened business accounts yet and which ones would you recommend from your experience that are user friendly, accounting software, fees are low and other benefits. Looking into this at the moment was looking at monzo, mettle or maybe tide. Nice to see what anyone else thinks and recommends...

Seems to be a couple of good options that people use. Monzo, Tide and Wise seem to be mentioned on here. Maybe use them as a short list and compare them in terms of what they offer. AI is good for doing side by side comparisons of things instead of jumping between the different sites. AI will put them all in a table side by side and compare features, pros and cons. It they are all very similar it maybe a case of which UI you like best 😆 Hope that helps.

Company Set Up
👋🏻 Working my way through the lessons. When setting up the company, did you all use your personal address? Was going through the process on Tide (very simple btw) but stopped at address, it says they can offer one for a fee - I remember when I had a company before I used my accountant address, also have you set up all 3 companies or just the trading one for now? If all 3 how do you link them all in the description James mentions, is there a specific way to set them up (does the holding company own the shares of the other two) or is that an accountant task? What have you guys done?

Hi Craig, Hope your day is going well. Ive not set up my business yet but I won't be using my personal one. I was going to use my accountants as I belive this is a way to do it. However the accountant I was going to use doesnt offer this service. So I believe ill need to purchase this separately. Unless there is the option through Tide like you mentioned. Is this your first property business? If so I think setting this one up initially to get going as it needs its own type of code. And then any others again would be seperate. Once you have a few I think that is when you may look at a holding company. I plan to have a separate one for trading / sourcing and then another for rentals. Hope that helps.
