This weekend I was reminded how important it is to celebrate progress.
Inside this community, shared a great post talking about how he recently started getting opportunities to do commentary and interviews. Not because someone handed it to him, but because he showed up, put himself out there, and started getting involved. That is how doors open in wrestling.
Small steps turn into real opportunities.
It also made me stop and think about wins from this past weekend.
One of mine is that I finished the first draft of my book. Now I'm in the process of tightening it up, finalizing it, and getting it ready to publish.
It has been something I've wanted to do for a long time, so I'm pretty excited about finally seeing it come together.
But wins don't have to be huge like that.
Sometimes the biggest progress comes from things like:
• Getting reps at training
• Helping with ring crew
• Introducing yourself to someone new at a show
• Trying something new in a match
• Getting better on the mic
• Showing up when it would have been easier not to
Those small things add up over time.
So let's hear it.
