Something I Am Quite Proud Of

So, I have family in Germany that occasionally give me money for certain holidays that are celebrated all over the world. Most recently, my uncle and my Oma (German word for grandma for the uninitiated) sent me a sum total of $125 for Easter.

For several days, I had lost a lot of sleep wondering about what I’d spend it on that wasn’t a video game — until I remembered that the PurePlank existed and was exactly $125 for the planking board alongside a lifetime warranty. I knew exactly what I wanted to spend it on.

After some deliberation between my mother dearest and myself, I bought one and it arrived yesterday evening. After a little bit of a scare with my German Shepherd Zeus trying to devour the box that the PurePlank came in, I managed to try it out late last night AND have done about 4.5-5 minutes total of planking today spread out across the morning, afternoon and evening — and my God, is it the best purchase I’ve made in a long time.

It’s gonna be a long and arduous process to get back in better shape for me to get back in the wrestling ring, but I am taking everything one step at a time — hopefully this little story managed to give you wonderful people something to smile about, because I feel amazing after doing these planks so far!
