One year ago today I opened my little poster store. I had no clue what I was doing, just a handful of designs, a lot of hope, and a willingness to learn.
This past year has been a mix of late nights, designs that flopped, lessons from fellow POD sellers, and somehow surviving Etsy trying to shut me down twice! I couldn’t have made it this far without the support of PrintShrimp and the community, which has been a massive help throughout my journey.
Some days were slow, some were exciting — but every single one taught me something. Today I’m proud of the progress, not just the numbers on the screen. They’re a reminder that consistency, patience, and a bit of stubbornness can take you further than you think.
To anyone starting out: focus on small daily actions, keep experimenting, and don’t let the quiet days convince you it’s not working. You never know what your first year could look like.
