Hi All, I Recently started my Etsy shop and posted my first listing 5 days ago, I got my first sale today which im happy with and I'm going to start ramping up the amount of listings I have. Before I do, wanted to drop a message on here asking people to take a quick look at my shop and tell me where I can improve, whether its my titles, listing art, tags, anything ... Has anybody else had a slow down of sales in the latter end of August? Hopefully nothing to worry about but just curious.

One year ago today I opened my little poster store. I had no clue what I was doing, just a handful of designs, a lot of hope, and a willingness to learn. This past year has been a mix of late nights, designs that flopped, lessons from fellow POD sellers, and somehow surviving Etsy trying to shut me down twice! I couldn’t have made it this far without the support of PrintShrimp and the community, which has been a massive help throughout my journey. Some days were slow, some were exciting — but every single one taught me something. Today I’m proud of the progress, not just the numbers on the screen. They’re a reminder that consistency, patience, and a bit of stubbornness can take you further than you think. To anyone starting out: focus on small daily actions, keep experimenting, and don’t let the quiet days convince you it’s not working. You never know what your first year could look like.

Has anyone else encountered a random dip off in sales before compared to previous months and how did you overcome it in the long run?
