Midjourney upscaler

Hi I think I’m overcomplicating this.

Is midjourney’s upscaler sufficient for Printshrimp or should I be using something like Upscayl as well. I’ve tried it and it just seems to double the file size or more with no appreciable inprovement in quality. I then had to use Photopea to drop the file size.

Can anyone put me straight please?
