International Shipping/pricing??

Hi everyone, a brand new newbie here! I was wondering whether someone could clarify how the international pricing/shipping works? All I have done so far Is alter my delivery profile so that the recommend countries have free shipping, as well as EU1 and EU2. I haven't made any adjustments to international prices or anything like that. Might sound a little confusing but was wondering whether I'm missing anything.
