The 4 Levels of Value (and why you might be underpaid right now)
This concept from Myron Golden shifted everything for me—because it explains why working harder isn’t always the key to earning more.
There are 4 levels of value in the marketplace:
  1. ImplementationThis is doing the thing. Physical labor. Showing up and grinding.(Ex: warehouse worker, delivery driver)Low income, low leverage.
  2. UnificationThis is managing people who do the thing. You’re keeping the system running.(Ex: supervisor, manager)Middle income, some leverage.
  3. CommunicationThis is using your words to move people. Sales, marketing, coaching, teaching.(Ex: speaker, content creator, coach)High income, high leverage.
  4. ImaginationThis is creating the thing. Ideas, solutions, IP, vision.(Ex: entrepreneur, inventor, creator)Unlimited income, massive leverage.
Here’s the punchline:
If you’re stuck at Level 1 or 2 but dreaming of freedom, it’s time to build skills at Levels 3 & 4.
Words move money.
Ideas change lives.
And you have both—you just need to unlock them.
Let’s talk about it.
