That shift changed how I write my webinars, how I show up on video, and how I close. Here’s what I’ve learned the hard way: 1. Your story builds the bridge.People don’t buy the program. They buy the transformation they believe you can walk them through—because they see you’ve been through it. 2. Specificity is a sales superpower.General pain doesn’t convert. Their exact problem, spoken in their words? That creates “holy sh*t they’re talking to me” moments. That’s when they lean in. 3. Calls to action aren’t just about urgency.They’re about certainty. When people believe you know the way, they follow. Your CTA should feel like the next obvious step—not a pitch. 4. Most people fail at one-to-many because they talk at people, not with them.Talk like it’s 1-on-1. Speak to the emotional chaos behind their logical objections. Make your delivery intimate, not corporate. While everyone’s trying to be the next webinar superstar, the real win is mastering connection at scale. If you’ve been struggling to sell to the crowd, ask yourself: Would your message still hit if only one person showed up? Discipline isn’t a boulder. It’s a flower.
Most people treat discipline like some giant weight they’re supposed to carry up a mountain every day. But that’s not sustainable. That’s not even how your brain works. Discipline is more like a delicate flower. It doesn’t grow from brute force. It grows in the right environment. Your brain craves ease and pleasure. So if being productive feels like punishment, guess what? You’ll choose distraction every time—and blame it on laziness or lack of willpower. But it’s not your willpower. It’s your environment. Instead of forcing yourself to “try harder,” try this: - Put your phone in another room while you work - Use website blockers so it’s harder to scroll than to stay focused - Set a timer for just 10 minutes of deep work to build momentum - Keep your to-do list visible and your distractions out of sight - Batch your dopamine—don’t let yourself “check the thing” until the task is done Make productivity the path of least resistance and discipline will start to feel automatic. Not because you’re “stronger”… But because you finally stopped making it so damn hard.

This concept from Myron Golden shifted everything for me—because it explains why working harder isn’t always the key to earning more. There are 4 levels of value in the marketplace: 1. ImplementationThis is doing the thing. Physical labor. Showing up and grinding.(Ex: warehouse worker, delivery driver)Low income, low leverage. 2. UnificationThis is managing people who do the thing. You’re keeping the system running.(Ex: supervisor, manager)Middle income, some leverage. 3. CommunicationThis is using your words to move people. Sales, marketing, coaching, teaching.(Ex: speaker, content creator, coach)High income, high leverage. 4. ImaginationThis is creating the thing. Ideas, solutions, IP, vision.(Ex: entrepreneur, inventor, creator)Unlimited income, massive leverage. Here’s the punchline: If you’re stuck at Level 1 or 2 but dreaming of freedom, it’s time to build skills at Levels 3 & 4. Words move money. Ideas change lives.
