What's Your List? ๐Ÿ‘‡
I'm not a Pilates Instructor because "I just love Pilates" like a vast majority.
I've recovered myself from a long list of injuries over time. The more serious you can see below.
The worst and most debilitating, for the longest period by far, chronic back pain..bulging L5 S1 disc, worn to the condition expected of a 50 year old manual labourer, at age 25.
Along with what you see and related issues, I've had various other strains, pulls and repetitive issues over the years. Pilates and the other elements of my approach to staying active and recovering from injury has solved or helped me come back from problems time and again.
How does your list look, and what consistent action have you taken to build yourself back up? Because consistency is key.
I've spoken to many for whom Pilates didn't "work for them", but when you dig under the surface, they did it inconsistently for a bit in a non-progressive way, without addressing other lifestyle factors.
Get that right and you'll significantly improve your situation ๐Ÿ™Œ

Keep moving, it's usually the answer.
