First beginners session
Well I attempted the first beginners session tonight. And I have to laugh, because I was all over the place! Trying to watch your video on the computer while doing the exercises, concentrate on what muscles I should be using, when to inhale and exhale and trying to remember how many I had done was a disaster.
And that's okay, it was my first attempt. I think it's more important for me to focus one step at a time and say just concentrate on the muscles I should be using first. Then once I've got that I can focus on say counting the reps etc etc.
I totally understand the main principles like control, concentration and precision etc. But obviously they will all come together when you have had plenty of practice.
I'm not sure if 2 or 3 sessions a week will be enough for a beginner and whether I should do some short sessions in between. Let's wait and see how I feel tomorrow. At the moment I feel okay apart from my back feeling a little bit niggled.
