Finally played my wife's favorite song for her.
I finally played my wife's favorite song, "Stranger on the Shore" for her. It's the first time I've played anything for her. I had a couple of short hesitations, but minor. She really raved about it! She said she loved it, and she sang along with my playing she said, although very quietly so I couldn't hear her. She said she didn't notice any hesitations and that it sounded smooth. I'll call this a "Win"!

I'm back babyyyy!
This is my first time playing a piano since joining Piano Tribe. I unfortunately can't fit a piano at my own place but it gives me another good reason to visit my parents 😂 So very grateful for @Rositsa Aleksandrova and her method of making piano practise fun, I feel alive again! Here's a medley of some of my favourite pieces to play. Was hesitant to post this as it's so long but eh, LFG!! It'd be cool to know if you recognise any of the songs!

♥️Welcome to the Piano Tribe!♥️  🎹Start here & introduce yourself:
Please watch this video describing our vibe! 1. Comment on this post - introduce yourself - where are you from and where are you in your piano journey? Are you a complete beginner or had some lessons or you are a concert pianist or an electronic producer that plays a few chord progressions? What’s your favorite type to play/listen (classical, jazz, your own compositions)? Do you even play or just here to listen? Of so - we have a special section called “Listening Sessions” - where you can listen to different performances and members playing for us! What’s your favorite fruit? 2. Head over to our classroom (2nd tab) and look through our (ever evolving) categories of courses and post video or questions in the feed for feedback and support :) P.S. Click the bell 🔔 on this post so you are informed when a new members comes in so you can say hello. ❤️🎹🥰💕💕💕 P.S.S… Don't lurk--->LIKE! Engagement is the first and easiest thing you can do. Find a post you find valuable - and let the person who wrote it know. It's a free gift you can give to someone else. Everyone here knows it's nice to be appreciated. And it literally takes a tap or a click. (And yes, statistically, people who like stuff succeed on Skool more). ❤️🙌

Canon in D - learn it w me!!!
Hi Tribers, here is Canon in D. For those of us who played it - it’s a refresher & for those that have not played it yet - learn it! It’s a nice piece :) I was reading a convo between Tash ( @Natasha Fernandez ) and @Brendan Danielson last night and they mentioned the song and I chuckled because yesterday morning I had recorded it for us!!! I didn’t post it as I am doing my best not to post too much and give space for others to shine and be who they want to be 💕 Oh the serendipitous synchronicities in our lovely tribe 🥰🥰🥰🥰 I love us!!!!!! I purposely shot it from above so you can see what keys I am pressing. You can pause the video, rewind, do a section several times and learn it that way. Essentially this is learning by ear. If you are a complete beginner - mess w it! You will see that is not that hard, once you get into it… Spend 5 mins several times a day w it and enjoy the journey 😀 No pressure - no deadlines! The whole entire piece is essentially built on 8 chords… after a few watches, you can improvise, once the structure is learned, and create your own amazing version of it. Cuz why not?
