Hi Tribers! Accidentals are “accidentally” occurring within a song. These can be flats, sharps, double flats, naturals, double sharps, placed right before the note in a musical piece, changing that note from the original note.💃
There are different than key signatures (good for the entire song) because they are only affecting the specific measure.
For example (like shown below) - if we have a flat before the first B in the measure, then the next Bs are also going to be flats within this measure BUT not in the next one (measure). 😃

Accidental:
- good for one measure only
- the same note in the same measure will be changed also without having an accidental for a second time in front of it, unless canceled w a natural sign
- different from key signature
