✨🌟 Daily Tribe Gathering 🌟✨ Accidentals
Hi Tribers! Accidentals are “accidentally” occurring within a song. These can be flats, sharps, double flats, naturals, double sharps, placed right before the note in a musical piece, changing that note from the original note.💃
There are different than key signatures (good for the entire song) because they are only affecting the specific measure.
For example (like shown below) - if we have a flat before the first B in the measure, then the next Bs are also going to be flats within this measure BUT not in the next one (measure). 😃
Hope this makes sense!
Accidental:
  • good for one measure only
  • the same note in the same measure will be changed also without having an accidental for a second time in front of it, unless canceled w a natural sign
  • different from key signature
Shout out to for the question!
Please vote and let me know if that makes sense in the comments 🫠🫶
💃 got it! It’s a sharp or flat or similar thing that changes the note as well as all the notes that are the same as the changed note WITHIN THE SAME MEASURE
😂 I thought you are that you are talking about accidents (mistakes) or Oopseys within a song!
❤️ i accidentally on purpose fell asleep during hard work today after i ate a bunch of food and kind of went into a food coma instead of packing & doing what I am supposed to 😅
