Less is more…

While out on my bike ride today, I came across this proud field worker harvesting marigolds. When he saw me taking photos, he spread his arms with a smile and proudly showed off his beautiful crop. Moments like this are one of the reasons I always try to have my camera with me.

Fourth of July – Oceano Beach The beach was packed with campers and holiday visitors. She was selling firewood and collecting parking fees when I noticed her laughing with someone nearby. Using my 85mm lens, I was able to capture this candid moment without interrupting the interaction.
