Web to lead and various leads
Last live lesson was very informative i am actually learning and enjoying myself while doing it ( those are my good days😅). we got to learn about Web to lead, lead process, lead assignment ,lead conversion, record types, and queue.
  • WEB TO LEAD: when a visitor fills out the info form online and submits it, this will automatically create a new lead record.
  • LEAD PROCESS: Lead process defines the stage a potential customer( lead) goes through from initial contact to potential conversion into a CONTACT.
  • LEAD ASSIGNMENT RULES: Are map out to automatically assign incoming leads to specific representatives or queues.
  • QUEUE: is acts as virtual holding area where records(leads, cases, custom/standard objects) are held until a team member claims ownership.
  • LEAD CONVERSION:Is the process of converting a lead into a account , contact, opportunity (sale, deal)
  • RECORD TYPES: Allow to create different business process, page layouts and picklist value for different users based on their profile.
