🔥 Recap & Recording of Salesforce Meeting Summary for Team Delta: ( Wednesday: 11/02/2026)
Team Delta: Wednesday Session Summary 📚
Overview
This was an intensive beginner Salesforce training session covering foundational concepts, career opportunities, and hands-on platform setup. Godwin Mbah Mbah led discussions on Salesforce admin roles and LinkedIn strategy, while Jozzy guided everyone through Trailhead and Developer Org configuration.
🎯 What We Covered
Salesforce Admin Role & Responsibilities
Salesforce Administrators are the bridge between Salesforce and your business. Your key responsibilities include:
  • Creating and managing user accounts, profiles, and permissions
  • Customizing the platform using point-and-click tools
  • Ensuring data security so users only see what they need
  • Building automations and workflows
  • Creating reports and dashboards to track business metrics
  • Solving user issues and providing support
Career Opportunities & Salary
  • Full-time Admin roles: $45,000–$70,000 annually
  • Contract work: Up to £500/day
  • Career growth: You can advance from Admin → Developer → Consultant → Architect (unlike other careers with limited growth)
  • Job demand: Recruiters actively search LinkedIn for Salesforce professionals
Why Salesforce Matters
Salesforce is industry-agnostic — every company (automotive, healthcare, education, finance, etc.) can use it. This means:
  • High demand across all sectors
  • Job security and flexibility
  • Ability to work remotely with multiple clients
  • Continuous innovation and new features
📱 LinkedIn Strategy
LinkedIn is critical for your success. Here's what you need to do:
  1. Create a LinkedIn profile if you don't have one
  2. Connect with Godwin Mbah Mbah — don't just "follow" him, actually connect so he can boost your network
  3. Follow Pathway to Salesforce company (you'll list this on your CV as your employer during certification)
  4. Be active on LinkedIn — like posts, engage with content, and build visibility
  5. Visibility = Opportunity — recruiters search LinkedIn for Salesforce professionals
Why? Because when recruiters search for "Salesforce Administrator," your activity and connections determine if you show up in their results.
🛠️ Three Essential Setups (Complete This Week!)
1️⃣ Trailhead Account
  • What: Salesforce's official learning platform
  • How: Sign up using the link in the community post
  • What to follow: The Salesforce Admin Chill Mix (not random courses)
  • Why: Companies check your Trailhead progress when you apply for jobs
  • Exam cost: $200 (can be reduced to $100–$150 with vouchers)
2️⃣ Salesforce Developer Org
  • What: Your free practice environment (like a sandbox)
  • How: Sign up at developer.salesforce.com using the community link
  • Important: Use your laptop only — phones/tablets won't show all features
  • Why: This is where you'll do all your hands-on projects and practice
3️⃣ Community Engagement
  • Join the Pathway 360 community (you should already have access)
  • Post in the support center whenever you get stuck — don't stay blocked!
  • Participate in study groups (launching this week with AI-powered features)
📚 Learning Strategy
Move correctly, not quickly:
  • Don't rush through modules just to finish
  • Practice each concept in your Developer Org before moving to the next topic
  • Write things down — it helps retention and tracks your progress
  • Complete quizzes after each module on Trailhead
If you get stuck:
  • Take a screenshot of where you're stuck
  • Post it in the support center with a description
  • Engineers are waiting to help you — don't stay silent!
🎓 Team Delta vs. Team Gamma
Team Delta = Complete beginners (this is you!)
  • Focus: Fundamentals, basics, platform navigation
  • Content: Introduction to Salesforce, creating objects/fields, user management
Team Gamma = Intermediate learners
  • Focus: Data security, data models, advanced customization
  • When to move: After completing Salesforce Fundamentals
Don't stay in Delta too long — once you've mastered the basics, graduate to Gamma to avoid repetition.
✅ Your Action Items This Week
  • Create/activate LinkedIn profile and connect with Godwin Mbah Mbah
  • Follow Pathway to Salesforce on LinkedIn
  • Sign up for Trailhead using the community link
  • Create your Salesforce Developer Org (laptop only!)
  • Start the Salesforce Admin Chill Mix on Trailhead
  • Enable your camera for all sessions (professional practice)
  • Post any questions/stuck points in the support center
📅 Next Steps
  • Saturday: Delta class continues (Ahmed leading)
  • Next Wednesday: Delta/Gamma classes meet
  • This week: Godwin releases the Pathway AI platform with advanced study group features
  • This week: Session video will be posted to the community
💪 Key Mindset
"If you want to actually get results, you need commitment. This is either do this or don't do anything. Don't just kind of want it."
You have everything you need to succeed:
  • Free learning platforms (Trailhead, Developer Org)
  • Expert mentorship (Godwin, Jozzy, engineers)
  • Community support (ask questions anytime)
  • Clear career path (high demand, good pay, growth potential)
The only thing missing is your action. Start this week! 🚀
Questions? Post them in the support center and we'll answer them there. See you on Saturday! 👋
