Accidental PR for a triple!
I was scheduled for 3 x 330 and knocked out 3 x 340! Looks like it’s back to “Math for Marines.” Because I’m retarded and can’t count 😂. I thought the thin bumper plates were 5 pounds. I was beating myself up about how tough the triple felt and then realized my mistake! Grit your teeth and push through!

The war continues!
HRF 1:1 training session #262. Deadlifts followed by some eccentric hack squats. Then sprinkled with back and bi work for flavor.

Big Pulls
Never hit a pull up with a full plate before. Now we’re smashing sets of 3. 💪🏼
Track and field
I’ve been doing a modified version of 5/3/1 under Randy’s expert guidance for the last 6 months+. Made pretty substantial strength gains. Starting a new cycle with Randy that’s more athletic in nature. Still hitting all three main lifts with a little more volume and adding some track style days. For example, today started with tuck and broad jumps. Followed by some 100 yard runs and ending with a 1 mile ruck for time with 25% of my BW. 13:36 with 55 pounds!!! There was a 40-50 foot steep elevation change in there, so I’ll take it.
Zerch
Decided to make zerchers my squat of choice this month. I’ve never done them consistently so I really had no idea what my max would be. I hit my estimated 95% of 275 max super smooth so I decided to rip off a 305 and I think I still had more in the tank. Constructive criticism welcomed. Also this is my dungeon. 90 percent of my equipment was made by the local ironworkers in my city. 🤙🏽 345x5 off a 4 inch deficit deadlift. I’m ahead a day in the workout schedule because I workout Sundays and take Fridays and Saturdays off due to work schedule kids etc.
