🦶🏼🔌 Shoes Off For Better Ground Connection & Lower 1/2 Stability 🔌🦶🏼
✔️ Here’s why hitting without shoes can help you feel more connected to the ground, engage your lower half, and improve your balance: 1️⃣ Feel Better Ground Connection • When you’re barefoot, your feet have direct contact with the ground, allowing you to feel every shift of weight and pressure. • This heightened sensory feedback helps you understand how to transfer energy from the ground up, making your swing more powerful and efficient. 2️⃣ Engage Your Lower Half • Without the cushioning of shoes, your body naturally recruits more muscles in your legs and hips for stability and power. • This helps hitters learn how to use their legs properly, leading to better and more efficient pelvic rotation. 3️⃣ Improve Balance • Training barefoot forces you to stabilize through your foot’s intrinsic muscles, improving balance and posture into & through your swing. • A balanced hitter is a consistent hitter—reducing unnecessary movements and creating a more efficient swing. 4️⃣ Reinforce Proper Mechanics • Poor mechanics, like collapsing your back leg, spinning the feet or losing posture, are harder to mask when barefoot. • This allows you to identify and fix bad habits quickly, improving overall body awareness. ✔️ Shoes off ✔️ Grip the ground ✔️ Rip the turf off the floor 🤢😷 I would do this drill way more often if my hitters feet didn’t stink.

⚡️Light & Heavy Bat Shuffle Swing & Holds⚡️
✔️ Add these in after your hitting workouts to help build bat speed the correct way. ⚡ Light Bat - 10-15oz lighter than your game bat. 💪 Heavy Bat - 4-8oz heavier than your game bat (you can add a bat weight to your game bat). 🛠️ Swing & hold the finish as quickly as you can. 👀 Pay attention to where your body is taking you. You shouldn’t be losing balance to the pull side. 🎯 Hold the finish & direction out front toward CF! 🎬 Sets & Reps: 5x5

🏏 Short Bat 🏏
• 🔑 Purpose: Helps hitters who struggle to drive the ball to the opposite field or pull off and lose their front side. • 👀 Focus: Keep your eyes & chest down over the plate throughout the swing. • 🏋️‍♂️ Posture: Maintain a strong, balanced posture to stay controlled. • ⚾ Barrel Path: Allow the barrel to stay long through the ball for better direction and consistent contact.
💧Water Tank Recoils💧
✔️ This my favorite Water Tank drill for these reasons. 1️⃣ Stabilizes the pelvis & core 2️⃣ Forces the lower half to hold tension with the ground 3️⃣ Buids deceleration patterns ✔️ If you own or have access to a water tank, do these as a warm-up to get your body primed and ready to swing the bat. 5x8 Sets & Reps

🥏 Lead Arm Frisbee Throws 🥏
1️⃣ The Frisbee Throw Drill • The drill mimics the motion of throwing a frisbee with the lead arm. • Focus is placed on isolating and freeing the lead arm from the torso. • It trains hitters to feel the proper sequence of their swing while maintaining frontside direction. 2️⃣ Key Benefits • Promotes barrel control and a straighter swing path. • Helps hitters stay through the ball longer instead of cutting their swing off early. • Reinforces proper swing mechanics and minimizes early rotation. 3️⃣ Common Problem Hitters often get their lead arm stuck to their torso during the swing. This limits proper disassociation and causes them to pull off the ball, leading to an “around the ball” swing path instead of staying through the middle. 4️⃣ Importance of Disassociation Disassociating the lead arm from the trunk allows for better energy transfer and direction. This enables the barrel to work efficiently, delivering a clean and direct swing path through the middle of the field. 🔑 Key Benefits: • Promotes barrel control and a straighter swing path. • Helps hitters stay through the ball longer instead of cutting their swing off early. • Reinforces proper swing mechanics and minimizes early rotation. https://youtube.com/shorts/UTt5bhagp7Q?si=pcgyoETH97nDptbR
