✨️Tuesday Blessings!! ✨️
Words carry weight. They shape emotion, biology, expectation, energy… all of it. 🌿 When you wake up and immediately say “I’m exhausted,” “life is hard,” or “same crap different day,” your nervous system hears every word like a command from the village town crier banging a rusty bell at dawn. 🔔 So yes… I understand why people choose words like “Grand Rising.” For some, it feels more intentional. More alive. More connected to gratitude and consciousness instead of moving through the motions on autopilot. I think the deeper lesson is not necessarily the exact phrase… but the awareness behind it. Speak life over yourself. Speak possibility. Speak healing. Speak peace over your home, your body, your children, your future. Because the body listens. The nervous system listens. The spirit listens. And honestly… most people are casting little doom spells all day long without even realizing it. 🌙✨
One thing I know!! 👇
As a nurse and a holistic practitioner… one thing I see over and over again is people trying to heal while their nervous system is stuck in survival mode. Your nervous system has two main gears. The sympathetic state is your fight or flight mode. Heart rate goes up… blood pressure rises… digestion slows… stress hormones increase. This state is incredible when you need to run, react, or handle danger. But here is the problem. Most people are living in this gear all day long. Emails… bills… poor sleep… processed food… constant stimulation… caffeine… scrolling… stress. The body interprets all of that as threat. And when the body feels threatened… it does not prioritize healing. Now the other gear is the parasympathetic state. This is rest, digest, repair, and restore. Heart rate slows… digestion turns back on… hormones balance… the immune system functions better… tissues repair. This is where healing actually happens. Not when we are rushing. Not when we are panicking. Not when we are running on caffeine and stress. Healing happens when the body feels safe enough to repair. This is why things like mineral balance… good food… sunlight… breath… walking outside… prayer… grounding… and real rest matter so much. They help shift the body out of survival mode and back into regulation. And once the nervous system feels safe again… the body can finally do what it was designed to do all along. Heal. 🌿

❄️Winter is for Rest❄️
Winter is the quiet inhale of the year. A season that does not ask us to produce, prove, or push, but to listen. The land withdraws its color and movement, inviting the same inward turning within us. This is not emptiness, it is conservation. Energy pulled back to the roots. Wisdom gathered in the dark. In winter, rest becomes an act of devotion. Reflection replaces reaction. We look gently at where we have been, what has shaped us, what no longer needs to be carried forward. Stillness creates space for repair… of the body, the heart, the nervous system, the spirit. Nothing is wasted here. Even the pause has purpose. This season reminds us that dormancy is not failure. It is preparation. Beneath the frozen ground, life is reorganizing itself, quietly deciding what will bloom next.
