Decolonize the mind!
The base and passion of my work is to see the simplicity/joy and ease what my teachers show me. Singing, dancing and talking around the sacred fire. Caring for gardens and working physically together heals.
"WE" as digital creators or nomads have a responsibility. Especially if we go to places where there WAS culture before and we overpower with eventually not long proven technologies, thinking superior and neglecting eventually the subtle secrets sustaining humanity and communal living for thousands of years in local culture, naming it primitive.
Bali, atitlan and Tulum are examples how fast a shift can go. Just be CURIOUS. CONNECT with me for receiving perspectives how we can change to regenerative nomads instead of extrative abusive ones:)
One of my teachers buntkua yari maku contributed a lot for me reflected in this article:)
It explores the worldview and living practices of the Muysca and Wiwa Indigenous peoples of Colombia, focusing on their understanding that everything on Earth is alive, interconnected, and deserving of respect. For the Muysca, humans, rivers, trees, mountains, and sky are all “people,” and healing the planet begins with restoring right relationship—through gratitude, ceremony, and daily practices rooted in intention.
The piece traces how colonial and capitalist systems disrupted these ancestral cultures, leading to land dispossession, environmental degradation, and the loss of sacred ecosystems. In contrast, it highlights how Muysca and Wiwa communities are resisting in a deeply revolutionary way: by reviving ancestral knowledge, protecting water sources and forests, practicing alternative forms of education, and working together across territories to reclaim land and restore balance.
At its core, the article shows that decolonizing the land is inseparable from decolonizing the mind. Through ceremonies, intergenerational learning, and a renewed relationship with nature, these communities offer a living alternative to extractive systems—one that invites all of us to remember our responsibility as “people of the planet” to care for life, relationships, and Mother Earth.
