How long have you been trying to get pregnant?
This question is usually answered in terms of calendar months. People think "ok, I decided to get pregnant last april so... a year!" Wrong. That's the time that has passed since you set the intention to get pregnant, but it's no t the same as actively trying to become pregnant. To get pregnant you need a lot of things to be in order! Do you know how many of those Cycles you actually had sex in your fertile window? Do you know the quality of your partner's sperm? Do you know if your progesterone was high enough to support a pregnancy? All of those things make a difference between an intention month, or a targeted month.

This is Ernie. Some day he will be my child's first toy.
Gods willing, some day I'll be a mother. We first opened the doors to this possibility in April 2025. We tried for 3 months and then I sent my partner (yes, I sent him) to do a sperm analysis. The test revealed he had no mobile sperm. With the habits we had, this was no surprise. So for the following 9 months, it was business as usual, we had sex when we felt like it, not necessarily paying attention to my Cycle, because we knew it was futile. He just had another test and the results are a little better! Not great, but not zero haha. So we're hopeful but not impatient. The same month we opened the doors, we got Ernie, our cute little stuffed elephant. We got him as a present for our future child, whenever they come into our lives. Ernie has lived on our bed ever since. It's gonna be so cool when our baby is here and we can place Ernie in their arms, infusing all of that loving energy onto them in physical form <3

MUST WATCH if you're seeking pregnancy
I was already quite aware of the issue of microplastics, thanks to Gittermary Johansen, a content creator I follow who focuses on environmental awareness and the impact of various productions. But I had never analyzed it specifically from the perspective of fertility. This documentary is based on the research of Dr. Shanna Swan, an epidemiologist who has been raising awareness about the link between microplastics and infertility for over 20 years.

Man explains how to treat a woman during her cycle
😂 My bf sent me this last night. Isn’t it great we get to be a whole different woman each week of your cycle?! This should be part of general Ed for all men. My mom told me in Japanese culture me are taught how to please a woman and I feel o heard something similar about many Native American cultures. They certainly don’t in the states.
