Muay Thai translates to Life
Good evening everybody. One thing I ve noticed about myself since I started this Muay Thai journey is how it translates to everything. Shout to @Luke Lombardi using one of the movement excercises we been working on in training saved my back at work today πŸ˜‚πŸ‘ŠπŸΏπŸ™πŸΎ. Everything I've been learning from @Kelvin Ngo @Patrick Lombardi has been applicable to things like using my hips when picking up boxes, the whole mental process of understanding motion so I coordinate with others doing simple activities like unloading cars/moping floor/emptying trash leading me to have life altering epiphanies. Its sounds corny but it's real life Mr.Miyagi principles πŸ˜‚. So if they reccomend a book read it/give a recommendation on videos to watch/or a focus they want you to key in on you should considered doing it, its was the best decision I made all year.
Lock in
Goodmorning, hope everyone has been doing good, been struggling a little tryna get my motivation and discipline back, now that my ankle is healed. It’s time to lock back in now.
Training w/Patrick
YOOOO!!! Tonight’s 1st Session with @Patrick Lombardi was lit!! 🀣 Learning Muay Thai stance over kickboxing, boxing stance, weight distribution for my legs in order to teep correctly and effectively! Had some laughs (because I laugh a lot) and got into some good drills, including shadow boxing! Which I haven’t done in years. So I was put on the spot. But it felt good to get corrected and learn from one of the best on the Muay Thai Warriors team!! ! πŸ’ͺπŸ½πŸ™πŸ½ Lesss Go!! 🀩
Insane 90 days at MTW
MTW has transformed me completely. When I started I’d barely even attend college or want to leave my house at all. But doing Muay Thai helped me build discipline Especially be able to do things in my life that I couldn’t find the strength to do or just didn’t want to do. These first 90 days at MTW have been insane. I feel like there’s been so much progress since I’ve started. I’ve changed Mentally, Physically and Spiritually. My fitness has gotten a lot better I remember when running even 3km used to be a problem now it’s tons of times easier Confidence has skyrocketed, I used to have problems with people perceptions and anxiety of me but now that I know how to defend myself a bit better it’s gotten significantly easier. Kelvin, Patrick and Luke have helped me tons Especially in things they don’t have to do at all like , Kelvin’s been giving great advice to help me grow my business.
