Something Fun: HEADLINES (Try it!)
There's a fun activity I love to do in sessions I facilitate called 'Headlines'. Basically, you think about headlines you'd love to see about your business in one, three, and five years from now. Participants say it's one of their favourite activities! 'Headlines' allows us to dream without the limitations we are so good at putting on ourselves. So I challenge you: What headline(s) would you love to see about your business, organization, Skool community, etc.? Take 10 minutes to dream. Share your headlines in the comments below so we can dream right along with you. (Mine are in the comments, too.)
The “This Shouldn’t Be This Satisfying” Thread
Every business owner has one “this shouldn’t be as satisfying as it is” thing. What’s yours? Spreadsheets lined up perfectly? Reorganizing folders? Label makers? Turning chaos into a tidy checklist? Confess in the comments so we can all feel normal. 😄👇

Almost the Holidays!
I don't know about you guys, but I am really settling into the idea that I will have 12 days off from my day job soon, and I'm really looking forward to it. Mainly because I'll have the capacity to try out some new ideas here in the Lab. Oh, and family and turkey dinners. Those are good, too. I'm still so driven to have a space here where we can learn, share, and grow together. I'll admit, though, I've slowed down a bit over the last couple of weeks to reflect, and I haven't put the right tools together for us quite yet, so that will be my goal over the break. I have some fun ideas to try, and then I will get back to recruiting new members to fire things up. Anyway. Just a check in. What are your plans over the holidays?

Sunday Funday: What Are Your Hobbies?
Well, we can't be business all the time, and I got to thinking I'd really love for us to share about hobbies! I like to make jokes that my hobby is hobbies. If professional hobbyism were a job, I'd be pretty far along in my career. 😅 Can you relate? Here are a few I've picked up (and put down) along the way: - Pottery (bought a wheel and everything) - Calligraphy - Languages - Macrame - Plants (even had a podcast about it) - Photography/Videography - Drawing So I'm curious about you, especially as a fellow entrepreneur: What have your hobbies been? Are you a serial hobbyist as well? Do you reach a certain point and say, 'OK, good enough!' or do you master a skill? (And now I've seen the word 'hobby' so much it's lost a bit of its meaning lol)

What Are Your Pebbles?
In our businesses, we’re constantly zooming out to work on big-picture strategy, then zooming right back in to handle the daily details. But what about the space in between? The small frustrations we’ve learned to live with, the ones quietly draining energy. Things like the same question getting asked because there’s no documentation. A CRM no one uses because it’s too clunky. Constant reprioritizing because goals aren’t visible. Gah. These 'Pebbles' are micro-frictions across leadership, team, and systems that compound over time. 💡 Try a Pebble Check with your team. Ask, “What’s one small thing we’re putting up with that doesn’t serve us?” List them. Fix the top three. I'd love to hear about your team's Pebbles. Were you surprised by what came up? What are your ideas to fix the pebbles and remove the friction? Where do you need help?
