Skin Rash and Evaluation
@Maurice Daher I've been experiencing itchy, red rashes on my arms for the past 6 weeks. I tried over-the-counter antihistamine tablets and topical cream, hoping the symptoms would resolve on their own. However, the itching has persisted and has become very disruptive to my sleep. This is the first time I've experienced this type of rash.
I've decided to schedule appointments with both my dermatologist and my primary care physician. In the meantime, I'd appreciate your recommendation. Would it be appropriate to perform an Immunoglobulin E (IgE) allergy test to help identify any potential allergic causes, or would you recommend a different evaluation or testing instead?
I have not changed my diet and have no other symptoms. Thank you so much for your guidance.
