New Lab Results - after 9 months
Hi Maurice. I want to share some key lab results, relative to our 1-1 consultations back in Oct-Nov 2025 and your advised corrective actions. First number "before" is Dec 2025 and 2nd "now" Sep 2026, newest few days ago:
Fasting glucose (mg/dl): before 125, now 93
HbA1C (%): before 5.5, now 5.7
RBC Magnesium: before 3.90, now 4.86
Insulin 2.0 mU/l
HomaIR: 0.4
Ferritine: now 257 μg/l
(all new, no baseline)
ASAT: 29 U/l
ALAT: 21 U/l
GGT: 13 U/L
Total cholesterol (mg/dl): before 329, now 263
HDL (mg/dl): before 100, now 70
LDL (mg/dl): before 202, now 166
Triglycerides (mg/dl): before 46, now 39
Homeocystine(μmol/L): before 7.9 now 9.2
And below was our focus together:
OXLDL: before 632 ng/ml, now 131 ng/ml
ApoB (mg/dl): before 123, then (2 months after consultation) 116 now 107
25-OH Vitamin D (ng/ml): conbefore starting consultation with you 37.8, 2 months later with "boosting" 96.7, now 69.2
hs-CRP: 0.2
Thyroid function
TSH: 0.64 mU/l
T3: 3.7 pmol/l
T4: 10.8 pmol/l
Omega 3 index 7%
Omega 6 to 3 ratio: 3.2
Polyunsuturated fats to Saturated fats ratio: 0.88
AA/DGLA ratio: 8.5
AA/EPA ratio: 6.4
Main lifestyle changes for these results ("now") compared to December 2025 "before"
1) improved sleep quality and duration
2) Shifted diet to more fish and less fatty cuts of meat
3) 3 meals a day as I still do not think I am ready for fewer, no snacking in between (as before)
4) No alcohol as before
5) Training less often and only if recovery above 80% per Morpheus device
6) Introduced some carbs to help sleep, I must admit I enjoyed fruits during summer and legumes. My diet remains "low carb" at about 60-80g net carbs per day, but I rotate meals among fish, red meat/organs and legumes like lentils. Cravings continue to be absent, I am still trying to control my "mania" for dairy (yoghurts) and sweet stuff like allulose and fruits
7) Cut coffee to one cup a day, changed from french press to filter and I have it 2h after waking up and only in morning
I must observe that with the 3 meals I gained weight from avg. 81 kgs to now 85 kgs which has made me stronger but slower and less explosive in workouts.
Supplementation: 5-6g creatine daily, 5000 IU vitamin D daily, glycine 10g daily in 3 doses, Magnesium Malate 400 mg in 2 doses and Bisglycinate 400mg 1,5h before bed, 2g of EPA/DHA omega 3 daily. Taurine 2-3g daily
Any comment and especially further advice for improvement is much appreciated. Thank you very much Maurice
