Question about Fix your Room challenge

I just came across the fact that book shelves on your backwall are not ideal for mixing. I understand why they are not diffusers and why they're not the best bass traps but my back wall has 4 full book cases and there's nowhere else for them to go. I was about to buy myself some speakers, but now I'm wondering if I'm going to hear things inaccurately. So my questions is, should I go ahead and get speakers and sonar works and hope for the best, or should I just send my headphones to sonar works to get calibrated by sonar works and stick with that?
