Daily Journal December 14, 2025: Sunday
The Main Takeaway Today: The battle against a baseless fear was fought and won in a single day, proving that spiritual effort and sincere Dua bring instant peace and clarity that no amount of analysis alone can provide. Sleep and Focus - Slept: I went to bed around 12:00 AM - Woke up: I got up at 8:00 AM. Things I Need to Remember - Remember the peace from the Dua yesterday and try to keep it all day long. - Dedicate proper, quiet chunks of time just for Skool, without any office distractions. - Try hard not to miss Fajr tomorrow. Starting the Day The Most Important Jobs: - I didn't want to waste time on my phone or get dragged into unnecessary social media scrolling. Food and Exercise - Breakfast (9:00 AM): Tea, bread, and maybe some fruit. - Lunch (2:00 PM): Simple homemade food, like rice and curry. - Dinner (7:00 PM): Light dinner, maybe soup and toast. - Exercise: I took a nice, long walk for over an hour, which helped me think. Good Things That Happened Today: - I finally dedicated several hours and finished four Skool videos! Therefore, I feel much more on track with my goals. - Despite the weekend distraction, I managed to pray Zohr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha right on time. That was a big improvement. - The long walk gave me time to think calmly, consequently, I felt mentally refreshed and ready for the new work week. - I helped a neighbor with a small task, and it felt good to be useful outside of work. Mistakes and What I Learned: - I still missed Fajr, which means I need a stronger evening routine to ensure earlier sleep. - Hence, the biggest lesson today is that weekend discipline is just as important as weekday discipline for long-term consistency. Prayer Log - Fajr: sadly missed it. - Zohr: prayed 1:15 PM. - Asr: 5:20 PM - Maghrib: 5:45 PM. - Isha: 8:45 PM Final Thoughts The morning found me struggling. Even though I woke up, the worry about the message I sent to my senior was still heavy. This vague, unclear state of mind had already wasted more than a day in useless thoughts.
