Mick Jagger is a huge rock star, but he lives a very simple life in a small French village called Pocé-sur-Cisse. For forty years, he has owned a big, beautiful historic house there called the Château de Fourchette. When he is in France, he does not live like a superstar. Instead of a luxury car, he drives an old, simple Peugeot station wagon. He goes to the local DIY store, buys plants for his garden, and loves eating local French rillettes (a type of meat spread). The local people love him because he is very polite and quiet. They protect his privacy and treat him like a normal neighbor. As the famous saying goes, "when in Rome, do as the Romans do"—and Mick Jagger certainly does exactly that in France!
