I am so excited to share these beautiful pieces that were given to us by friends! Each one has a wonderful story and brings a little bit of West Africa's incredible culture into our home. Do you also have treasures? ✨ 1/ This mask is a very pretty piece of craftsmanship, perfect for bringing a protective, serene and welcoming presence into a home! 2/ This sculpture represents the highly respected figure of a wise old man from a village. 3/ This elegant wooden statue shows a traditional African woman pounding grain, which is a beautiful symbol of strength and daily life in Senegal. 4/ This simple wooden candle holder from Senegal shows a small child with a tall hat. 5/ This detailed bronze statue from Burkina Faso depicts a young man walking while carrying a staff and water gourds . 6/ This magnificent bronze statue from Burkina Faso captures all the energy and joy of live music. 7/ This scooter, which also comes from Senegal, was made with soda cans and bottle caps. I added a small fabric bag to carry the dog and I labeled it Kisbee because I had a white scooter. and ( In France ) 8/ I bought this bike and this Solex in a toy shop in Aubenas . I added a red bag to Patrick's grey bike 20 years ago, and I had added two black bags to my Solex that I had made out of cardboard and fabric, but they disappeared. Who stole them? 🤨
