I was talking with some lady and she said "I'll call you after three days." I thought maybe she wanted to say "in three days"? A teacher or ChatGPT might explain it like this: "In three days"= three days from now "After three days" later than a three-day period. But does that explanation make you feel confident about using these? There's something that doesn't sit right with that "after three days". Why can't we say "after now"? What's your take?
