Feeding food scraps
How much food would you tell the kids running the experiment to use?
Obviously we're going to start small, but how small?
Would it be realistic to do it by weight? I'd kind of like to see how many pounds of scraps they eat over 9 weeks.
Would you do more worms? (Worms are cheap right now at the Bin There Worm Farm!)
There will be one bin for every 4ish kids to take care of, so we'd probably get to a couple pounds over that timeframe I'd think.... I've just never done a shoebox and fed scraps. Thought some of you might have better realistic ideas.
