Mid week mobility & flexibility + wins!
I forgot to take a photo after my workout this morning. I walked on my pad then did Lacee’s mobility and flexibility from 10 min beginner - it was lovely & I really love her! ❤️ I hit my step goal today despite many meetings spent on my ass, so I am very proud of that win - 7300+ as of this minute! I also NAILED my nutrition and I’m super pumped because honestly I had so many moments of temptation and opportunity to eat more and have candy but I didn’t! It was also pretty easy to stick to the plan when part of it was cheeseburger soup!!! ❤️‍🔥🙌 What wins did you have today? Let’s celebrate!

Mid week mobility & flexibility + wins!
Progress!!
I generally don't like to weigh myself, but I have one of those smart scales that measures all kinds of things, which is much more helpful than just a number on a scale. In October, I had my physical and bloodwork done - things were okay, but just a few things I needed to work on with my lipid panel. ANYWAYS, i did a comparison this morning from October to now: Down 9lbs, down 2% body fat, -7.3lbs of body fat mass, GAINED 3lbs of muscle!! I was floored! To be down 9lbs and up 3lbs of muscle is huge - proof the heavy lifting is working. I need to go get my bloodwork done again to re-test, but I feel confident going into it! Thanks all for your support - grateful to be here!
End of check in
It’s been a pretty good day here. Little guy slept decently (don’t want to say too much and jinx it). I got in a nice walk this morning with him. Didn’t do to bad with food(though it is still a little early so I might have some chocolate). I was able to get two loads of laundry done. Also another thing I started doing with my little guy is after dinner and while my hubby gets the bath ready we clean/pick up all his toys that is laid out everywhere from him playing all day. It feels good to get him in the habit of it and it makes my evening easier after he is down for bed that I don’t have to spend time cleaning and picking up everything. I can just sit on the couch with my hubby.

SO CLOSE!! I’ll take it. Honestly I probably will still break 7,000 before I really get in bed cause Wesley is still up. I also did day 2 of staying within (not going over) my targets for food. Feeling good about keeping these promises to myself. Anyone else feel like they’d benefit from checking in here in the evenings to celebrate those wins? I encourage you to use this space to your benefit!

High Protein Ingredients
What are some of the items on this (attached) list you have and can plan to use in your next meal plan to make it high protein? Looking at the list @Amanda Steele posted, we have a lot of items that help create our next high protein meal. I mentioned yesterday the 3 Farm Daughters pasta which is higher in protein. I drink a pre-mixed protein drink every morning (I really enjoy Slate Ultra which has 30 g of protein). In our pantry we always have broth, pasta sauce, pesto, various oils and vinegars, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, and tons of seasonings. Garlic herb tuna packets are a must have for us! We make rice quite a bit, which is made easy with our rice cooker. Cottage cheese, Greek Yogurt, and Babybel lite cheeses are items I buy almost weekly. I mentioned yesterday our abundance of freezers but these are well stocked with meat, vegetables, and breakfast foods. We really have a lot of items that I’m trying to take stock of to use instead of buying everything every week at the store.
