Sunday workout! & plan for the week 💪🏼
After a rest from workouts yesterday (and doing mobility on Wednesday), I decided to get a jump start on this week. Lower body week 5 was the dirty mofo ladders and WOOF, that was amazing and brutal at once! This week plan is Sun-Lower, Mon-Upper, Tues-Lower, Wed-Upper, Thurs-Mobility, then Spin Fri and Sat Already logged my food for the week to work toward my calorie and macros target goal I set for the week, and plan to plug in all our dinners and lunches ahead as well right now to be set in that respect! (Should I talk about this process live? Would it help??) i’m making pizza for the superbowl and a protein ice cream!!! For me it is so helpful to plug in what you know you want first and build around it! The meal prep, laundry and other Sunday tasks also are on deck. It’ll be a busy one but productive!! How’s everyone else doing on Sunday?? Any goals for the week? Post them in goals & accountability!

Happy Sunday and that sounds like a great plan for the week.
Wear Red!
New venue… (spinning is now my favorite form of cardio!) Same message & mission. It’s true what they say: when health is taken away, it becomes the only thing we wish for. I don’t want to wait until it’s gone to appreciate it. Now that I know how precious and “un-permanent” health can be, I want to take good care of the one body I’ve been given. And I want to inspire the same in others! We wear red to raise awareness for heart disease — the leading cause of death in the U.S. Taking care of our hearts is one of the most powerful things we can do for ourselves and the people who love us. Small daily choices really do add up: -Move your body regularly -Eat more vegetables and fiber -Surround yourself with people who lift you up -Support healthy blood sugar, blood pressure & cholesterol -Limit highly processed foods, excess salt, sugar & alcohol Wearing red today isn't just making a statement — you’re reminding yourself (and others) that your health is worth protecting. I am so proud of you for showing up for yourselves and for each other!

Morning walk
It was a little breezy but a lovely morning at the park.

Breezy morning walk
It was a lovely but breezy morning at the park. Took it slower and made it a shorter walk due to the wind and because I woke up with some back pain today. I think a toddler floor bed is in the near future. Leaning over the crib to lay him down at night with him weighing 22 lbs is starting to catch up to me.

@Shauna Bastian yeah the crib is all the way down at the last spot where it can go. Luckily he’s not quite tall enough to pull himself over the crib yet, but he is climbing on everything.
