The Lazic War: IRAN vs ROME
Shāhanshāh Khosrow Anushirvan the Just of the Iranian Empire (i.e. Aryan Empire) vs Emperor Justinian the Great of the Eastern Roman Empire (aka Byzantium).
The Lazic War lasted for twenty years, from 541 to 562 AD, and ended with the Fifty-Year Peace Treaty, which obligated the Byzantine Empire to pay tribute to Iran each year for the recognition of Lazica as a Byzantine vassal state by the Iranians.
The Lazic War is narrated in detail in the works of Procopius and Agathias.
