Please, I’m asking you: don't resort to name-calling, and don't be tempted to immediately dismiss him or pin your own 'camp's' labels on him just because it's convenient. That is intellectual laziness.
Try to truly engage with him out of genuine curiosity. Explore how he reached a conclusion similar to yours from an opposing starting point, through a prism you aren't familiar with.
